O & G Tax and Accounting is a full-service accounting and tax advisory firm owned and operated by Alex Oware, CPA, Esq., a dual-qualified Certified Public Accountant and California-licensed attorney.

Alex founded O & G Tax and Accounting in 2015 to provide practical, high-level tax and accounting guidance to individuals and businesses in the U.S. and abroad. He holds a B.S. in Accounting and Finance, an MBA in Accounting and Finance, and a Juris Doctor, and brings deep experience in U.S. and international tax compliance, IRS representation, cross-border taxation, tax audits, nexus analysis, penalty abatement, and tax resolution matters.

As a Certifying Acceptance Agent, Alex regularly assists U.S. and non-U.S. taxpayers worldwide, including clients across Europe, Asia, North America, and Latin America. Known for his hands-on, personalized approach, he works closely with each client to ensure clarity, compliance, and optimized financial outcomes.

O & G Tax and Accounting provides comprehensive services including tax preparation and resolution, accounting and bookkeeping, entity formation and restructuring, and strategic advisory support for startups and small businesses.

Alex attended the Presbyterian University College of Ghana, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance. Then, he went on to earn a Master of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from Colorado Heights University and became a Certified Public Accountant.

He graduated with a Juris Doctorate from Purdue Global Law School in December 2023, and became an Attorney at Law Admitted to the State Bar of California
